Hawai'i Forest Birds
This tape is a one-hour video loop in which a 20-minute segment is repeated three times. Each segment presents the sights and sounds of four native birds, identified on-screen by name:
'apapane,
'i'iwi and
'amakihi (members of the honeycreeper family) and
'elepaio, a native flycatcher.
The sound track consists only of bird songs. There is no music or narration. This audio/video meditation can be used as a relaxing background to studying, working or sleeping.
